Leadership by example: CG Adeniyi’s academic triumph Inspires  Ogun 1 Customs

In a grand celebration of intellectual prowess and dedication to excellence, the Nigeria Customs Service(NCS), Ogun 1 Area Command, Idiroko, has congratulated the Comptroller-General of Customs, Bashir Adewale Adeniy, on his successful attainment of Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D) degree.

Comptroller Godwin Aderounmu Otunla, the Customs Area Controller while speaking on behalf of the officers and men of the Nigeria Customs Service, Ogun 1 Area Command, Idiroko, described the achievement as “remarkable” and “well-deserved”.

In a release by Deputy Supretendent of Customs, Chado Zakari, Public Relations Officer(PRO) of the command, the command noted that the CG’s academic triumph is a reflection of his inspiring leadership style, which blends professionalism, scholarship, and innovation in driving the NCS toward global standards.

The release stated, “The officers and men of the NCS are proud of our leader’s achievement, which continues to motivate us to pursue knowledge and professionalism in service to the nation.

“We rejoice with the CG on this well-deserved honour and pray that Almighty God grants him more wisdom, sound health, and greater accomplishments as he continues to steer the affairs of the Nigeria Customs Service to enviable heights.”

The conferment of the Ph.D degree on CG Adeniyi is a testament to his dedication to excellence and his commitment to continuous self-development.

He went further to say, “His leadership style has been an inspiration to many, and his achievement serves as a role model for officers and men of the NCS to emulate.
