B’Odogwu drives Tincan Customs revenue to ₦154.3bn, second-highest ever

B’Odogwu platform, the new indigenous digital customs management system by the Nigeria Customs Service(NCS), continues to drive revenue growth at the Tin Can Island Port Command, with October’s revenue figure at  ₦154,384,834,050.93, underscoring the Command’s commitment to excellence.

The Tin Can Island Port Command under the helm of Comptroller Frank Onyeka, has so far experienced greater performances in various areas of its operations.

In a release made available by Chief Supretendent of Customs, Oscar Ivara, Public Relations Officer(PRO), of the command revealed that October 2025 revenue record proved the second highest revenue generation of the Command with the a total of one hundred and fifty four billion, three hundred and eighty four million, eight hundred and thirty four thousand, fifty naira and ninety three Kobo (₦154,384,834,050.93k) only.

In August, Comptroller Onyeka attributed the Command’s record-breaking revenue to the B’Odogwu platform, stating it had improved trade facilitation and revenue performance.

The Command’s highest monthly revenue collection was ₦159 billion in August 2025.

Comptroller Onyeka praised his officers’ commitment and commended stakeholders for their contributions. He also appreciated Comptroller-General of Customs, Adewale Adeniyi, for recognizing the Command’s efforts and providing support.

The Tin Can Island Port Command has adopted the CGC’s policy of collaboration, consolidation, and innovation, driving its activities this year.
