Indeed, it will be a new dawn for the Igbo community in Aigbaka Ejigbo of Ejigbo Local Council Development Area when the digital Eze, (Amb) Nicholas Emenike Njoku, will perform his first Ofala/ New yam festival (lri ji)on September 30,2023.
The event geared at enhancing, promoting and inculcating Igbo rich culture in the youths especially those in diaspora is slated for 12:00noon at the Ronik comprehensive college Ejigbo.
Large turnout of illustrious sons and daughters of Igbo Speaking Community both at home and in the Diaspora, high profile personalities, friends, children and Cultural enthusiasts are expected.
Eze Njoku who is the Eziokwu bu Ndu 1 of Abazu, Ikeduru reiterated his commitment to promoting lgbo language as young children will be on ground to display and showcase the cultural heritage of the Igbo nation.

Odimegwu
The Chairman Planning Committee, Hon.Engr Chuks Odimegwu noted that the event which is under the chairmanship of Prince Hilary Ugochukwu Nwachukwu (Ugo sly), will have immediate past House of Assembly member representing Oshodi/Isolo Constituency II, Hon. Jude Chukwuemeka Idimogu as co-host with Alhaji Fola Tinubu as the Special Guest of Honor.

Odimegwu said the event which will commence on Friday 29 September, 2023 at the palace of Eze Njoku would feature conferment of chieftaincy titles and climax on Saturday September 30 at Ronik College with the grand finale that will feature diverse cultural performances, presentation of new yam, dance displays, among others.
