Customs debunks viral message on recruitment cancellation, reaffirms transparency

The Nigeria Customs Service has dismissed as false a message circulating on social media claiming that its ongoing recruitment exercise has been cancelled.

In a statement, made available by the national Public Relations Officer of service DC Abdullahi Maiwada, of the Nigerian Customs Services the Service clarified that the information did not originate from the agency and does not reflect its official position. It stressed that no announcement has been made regarding the cancellation of any recruitment process.

The NCS urged members of the public to disregard the misleading message and avoid spreading unverified information that could cause confusion among applicants and stakeholders.

Reaffirming its commitment to transparency, the Service advised prospective applicants and the general public to rely strictly on updates from its verified communication channels.
