BREAKING: Tension in Mile 2 Lagos over alleged killing of truck driver

The popular Mile 2 area of Lagos Tuesday morning experienced chaos as protesters armed with dangerous weapons takeover the area over an alleged killing of a truck driver by security operatives in the area.
Residents and road users at the Mile 2 axis of Lagos, are currently contending with confusion arising from the protests.
The whole area and streets leading to and out of Apapa the port base has been taken over by Area Boys and touts who have cashed in on the opportunity to cause mayhem leaving motorists and commuters stranded and to their fate.
Nation Update observed
that street urchins took over the area causing tension while burning tires on the road even as people were spotted fleeing for their lives.
Uncertainty in the area has been heightened by the arrival of security agents who are shooting from all corners of Apapa, and environs to disperse the protesters in an effort to restore normally in the area.
Reasons for killing the truck driver in cold blood is not yet clear.
