Wrong information caused sealing of ANCLA secretariat – National President

As business activities has resumed fully at the National Secretariat of Association of Nigeria Licenced Customs Agents (ANLCA) recent sealed up, action which the National President, Iju Tony Nwabunike described as taken on basis of misguided information.

Speaking to Nationupdate online, the National president, Nwabunike reiterate that the the recent sealing of the place by policemen, may have happened due to some communication gaps, wrong information given out.

The police officers that sealed the secretariat he said premised their action on a reported misunderstanding between two factions of Tin Can Island Port Chapter of the association.

Nwabunike however admonished all members of the association to embrace peace, honesty, brotherliness and professionalism while maintaining law and order at all times.

The National Vice-president of ANCLA Dr Kayode Farinto had earlier stated that policemen came from Zone -2 police Command to the place, but actually acted on misguided information as there was no basis for that, even as Courts were not in session to order such action.

The national president therefore assured that the association under his watch will continue to be law abiding and promote the interest of it’s members at all times.

It will be recalled that some police officers had sealed up the secretariat following a reported misunderstanding between two factions of Tin Can Island Port Chapter.
