Serving as Chairman of the occasion, Dr. Akutah underscored the strategic importance of Nasarawa State, noting that its proximity to the Federal Capital Territory and neighbouring states has made NSUK a hub for students from diverse backgrounds.
He, however, stressed the need for sustained investment in infrastructure and academic development to further position the institution as a leading centre of learning.
He also called on members of the alumni association to play a more active role in supporting the university, particularly in areas of development and capacity building.
The event drew dignitaries, alumni, and stakeholders from across the country, all gathered to celebrate the achievements and enduring legacy of Nasarawa State University at 25.
