Kogi governor lauds Edo’s Okpebholo on 1st year milestone

Kogi State Governor Alhaji Ahmed Usman Ododo has praised Edo State Governor Senator Monday Okpebholo’s leadership, as Okpebholo marks one year in office, citing progress in infrastructure, youth empowerment, and economic reforms.

In a personally signed congratulatory message, Governor Ododo commended Governor Monday Okpebholo for the strides recorded in Edo State within just one year, noting that his focus on good governance has placed the state on a path of sustainable progress.

Lauding Okpebholo’s visionary and people-centered leadership, Ododo described him as a dedicated development advocate and patriotic leader, embodying responsive and accountable governance.

According to Ododo, “In one year, Governor Okpebholo has demonstrated exceptional leadership and a deep understanding of what governance means, which are service, inclusion, and progress. His efforts in repositioning Edo’s economy and improving the welfare of the people deserve commendation.

“On behalf of the government and good people of Kogi State, I extend my heartfelt congratulations to him and the people of Edo State.”

The Governor prayed for continued peace, unity, and prosperity in Edo State, while expressing optimism that Governor Okpebholo’s second year in office will bring even greater development and renewed hope for the people.

Ododo reaffirmed Kogi State’s commitment to strengthening inter-state ties, highlighting the shared history of cooperation and brotherhood between Kogi and Edo States. He expressed optimism that this partnership will drive regional development and national unity.

He wished Governor Okpebholo wisdom, good health, and divine guidance, as he continues to serve Edo State and contribute to Nigeria’s progress.
