The Management of the Nigerian Maritime Administration and Safety Agency(NIMASA) has distanced it self from the non-existent recruitment exercise for 2021/22 in circulation purported to have emanated from it as false and fraudulent.
NIMASA said it has neither published any advertisement on job interviews nor embarked on any recruitment of workers, stating that the said notice and publication are clearly fraudulent and should be ignored by the general public.
The agency hereby cautions websites, blogs and other online platforms against further circulation of any fake NIMASA recruitment advertorials to the unsuspecting public.

In a release from the management titled, “NIMASA warns against fake recruitment adverts circulating online… Issues Disclaimer on fraudulent employment” it
stated that it’s official website remains same and authentic outside of which is fake and fraudulent.
“Stop circulation of such false and misleading information. Should the general public require information, the agency’s official website www.nimasa.gov.ng remains the authentic place to visit or call can be made to the NIMASA Stakeholders Experience Contact Centre (MSECC) 01-630 9590.”
The release went further to state, “NIMASA has no association or links whatsoever with such misleading and fraudulent platform or outlet purveying or publishing illegal notifications on matters of employment as there are laid-down procedures in line with the functioning of government agencies on such matters.
“Members of the public are therefore advised to disregard such messages. The Agency hereby, also, cautions websites, blogs and other online platforms against further circulation of any fake NIMASA recruitment advertorials to the unsuspecting public.”
