Boosting Customs-Trade Harmony: Apapa Customs to engage NAGAFF leadership, members on Tuesday

Determined to ensure peace, industrial harmony and promote collaboration at the ports and borders, the Customs Area Controller of Apapa Port Command, Dr. Babatunde Olomu, is scheduled to visit the National Association of Government Approved Freight Forwarders (NAGAFF) headquarters.

The visit scheduled for next Tuesday is in furtherance to the Comptroller General of Nigerian Customs, Adewale Adeniyi’s management team’s vision of ensuring peace and industrial harmony in the Nigerian customs ports and borders.

Strategic officers as Compt. Olomu is not relenting in taking responsibility to drive home the process.

It is on record that the ongoing customs modernisation is targeted towards ensuring that the customs ports and borders are made to be most friendly, competitive, efficient and revenue oriented.

It is also expected to reduce smuggling activities, facilitate trade and ensure e- commerce application in the customs ports and borders @ B’odogwu indigenous revolution.

A statement by the Secretary General of National Association of Government Approved Freight Forwarders (NAGAFF), Fwdr. Godfrey Emeka Nwosu advises all the young freight forwarders, members of the board, national executive officers western zone and other stakeholders including the media to be seated before 12 noon.
