Proprietor charges students on integrity, hard work at valedictory, prize giving day

….Charges pupils to embrace excellence

Students and pupils of Power and Glory School in Ejigbo Lagos have been encouraged to embrace excellence, integrity, hard work, good character and knowledge in their quest for higher education.
The Proprietor,Mr Ezekiel Onilude disclosed this during the 2022/2023 Annual Graduation/Valedictory Service of the school held at the school compound Ejigbo.

He went further to urged the students to be focused in life and embrace hardwork as a lifestyle if they want to achieve meaningful life for themselves, family and society at large.

“The formation of your character begins here in this school and you were groomed to be dedicated, focused, committed and disciplined because youthful age is full of distractions, so prepare yourself to go and overcome your world,” He submitted.

Mr Onilude appreciated the parents,teachers for their contribution towards the sustenance and growth of the children.

In his welcome address, the Principal Mr Adam Tijani tasked the outgoing students to use the training and knowledge they acquired while in school to become agent of positive change and be shinning lights.

“As you go into the world continue to uphold the values of compassion, integrity and empathy. Be the agent of positive change and let your light shine bright illuminating the path for others to follow, your hard work, determination and countless hours of study have brought you to this moment of glory.”

“Today as we honor our exceptional students and pupils with prize and accolades, we will also celebrate the spirit of healthy competition and the pursuit of excellence. Remember that the true essence of education lies not merely in the pursuit of grades but in the development of character and a thirst for knowledge ” he stated.

The principal went further to enumerate the various achievement of the school in academics, sports etc which he said wouldn’t have been possible without the cooperation and support of the proprietor and parents teachers association(PTA) of the school.

Highlight of the event were speeches, songs presentation, choreography, and cultural display. Meanwhile several students who were outstanding in various subject and conduct won various gift items.
