The Lagos State governor, Babajide Sanwo-Olu has sealed – off 10 private schools caught violating the COVID-19 closure of schools order of the state government and the country at Large.
The development followed the visitation of many private schools in the state  by the Monitoring team of the Lagos State Director-General, Office of Education Quality Assurance, Mrs Abiola Seriki-Ayeni.
While on the visit, the Monitoring and Investigation team caught some of the private schools violating the order and have since sealed them off.
Ayeni said they were violating the order there by spreading the virus rather than help in the containment of the virus and wondered why the haste to start learning emphasising that it’s only the living that learns.

The DG encouraged parents to adopt the online schooling system for their children for now until normality is restored as it is the trend world over today.
