You are the best terminal operator of year 2020, MWUN scores Ports and Cargo

The Maritime Workers’ Union of Nigeria (MWUN) on Wednesday adjudged Ports and Cargo Handling Company (PCHC), an arm of SIFAX Group as the best terminal operator of the year, 2020.

The union commended the terminal operators in an appreciation letter, a copy which is made available to our correspondent

MWUN lauded the Chieef Executive Officer of SIFAX Group, Barrister Taiwo Afolabi and the management of the conglomerate for its high working standards and adherence to national and international ethics.

In the letter signed by the President General of MWUN, Comrade Adewale Adeyanju, MWUN said the management of SIFAX was worthy of emulation by other terminal operators in the industry.

He said, “We appreciate your high moral standards and your pursuit of justice and equity in all human endeavours.

“I sincerely appreciate your provision of high working standards which has made your terminal a safe place to work.

“Indeed, your management style is worthy of emulation by other terminal operators in the industry. We appreciate your high moral standards and your pursuit of justice and equity in all human endeavours,” he stated.

Adeyanju said that “We the members of the union in consideration of the foregoing adjudged you the BEST TERMINAL OPERATOR of year 2020.

He however reiterated the support of the union to the organisation while speaking ensuring it that maritime albeit maritime operations in Nigeria attain its place of excellence in Africa.

The union said that it could not wish for a better management especially in the period times that the country is into.
