Less than one month of inauguration, the story seems to be changing so fast. Hon Adebayo Olasoju, the council chairman of Isolo Local Council Development Area (LCDA), braces up to match campaign promises with action in the area of roads construction. Commendation from councillors in the area has therefore shown.

The seven councillors of the LCDA have joyfully commended the chairman for a good beginning going by the gradual and sustained roads maintenance progressing in the area.

The councillors stated this while carrying out their oversight functions on roads and infrastructural rehabilitation projects ongoing in Alagbeji Ward in particular on resumption after their three-week recess.

The men of the legislative arm of the council while also at Mureni and Aderinto streets described the level and quality of works as marvellous.

Speaking on behalf of the councilors, the Council Leader, Hon. Akeem Adeyemi who reaffirmed the earlier position of the council bosss, that upon completion of the road projects and others as: Kogberegbe, Lamina Lawal, Ehingbeti and Shonibare, roads, travel time will be reduced on the route which stretches through Akinbaye and Alagbeji wards thereby reducing the pressure on Mushin/Isolo Road.

Adeyemi stated : “We’ve come to perform our oversight function as expected and we can say that these projects are marvellous, what’s left on both roads; Mureni and Aderinto are just asphalting and that’s quite impressive. The drainages have been improved on and that tells more about the quality of the job because if the drainages are left unfixed the surface of the road will suffer degradation sooner than ever anticipated when flood begins to spill onto it.
