Kogi Commissioner Fanwo commends Mopamuro LGA for top primary healthcare achievement

Kogi State’s Commissioner for Information, Hon. Kingsley Femi Fanwo, has commended Mopamuro Local Government Area Chairman, Hon. Ademola Bello Destiny, for the local government’s top ranking in Primary Healthcare Delivery in Kogi West Senatorial District.

Fanwo however described the award a “giant feat”, crediting the Chairman and health workers in the area for advancing Governor Usman Ododo’s vision for grassroots healthcare.

He said it shows the Governor’s commitment to boosting Primary Healthcare across the state’s 21 LGAs, ensuring quality services reach all communities.

He commended Hon. Ademola Bello Destiny and all the health workers in Mopamuro LGA for their dedication and teamwork, which have positioned the Local Government as a shining example in the health sector.

While congratulating the team for the milestone, Fanwo challenged them to aim higher by emerging the Best Local Government in Primary Healthcare Delivery in the entire State in the next award cycle.

“This award should serve as motivation to do more. Governor Ododo’s administration is proud of Local Governments that align with his agenda of delivering dividends of democracy through accessible and quality healthcare,” Fanwo said.

He noted that the State Government will continue to support all Local Governments to strengthen healthcare infrastructure, improve personnel welfare, and ensure better health outcomes for the people.

Commissioner Fanwo also praised Local Government Chairmen in Kogi West for their efforts, saying they’ve improved healthcare services at the grassroots.
