The various people oriented programmes of Hon Jude Idimogu have been lauded by the
President General of Igbo Speaking Community in Lagos, High Chief (Sir) Cyril Sunday Eze.
Chief Eze was speaking at Ejigbo mini-stadium on Monday during the ongoing registration for Point Of Sales (POS) machines attracted by Hon Jude Chukwuemeka Idimogu, member, Lagos state House of Assembly, representing Oshodi/Isolo Constituency II, to create source of income for his constituents and Lagosians at large.

Sir Eze called for support to the lawmaker to sustain his people oriented programmes in the constituency, stated that with all that Idimogu has done for the people of Oshodi/Isolo and Lagosians at large, anything short of sending him back to the house to continue these good works amounts to nothing but ingratitude to God for what he has used Idimogu to do here.

Speaking with
nation Update, the president maintained that the empowerment programme was unprecedented, saying such gesture of over 2,000 POS machines to Lagosians
is capable of fighting poverty and crime in the land.
Recall that Hon. Idimogu had in partnership with a bank commenced the process of equipping Lagosians beyond his constituency with over 2,000 free POS machines.
The gesture according to him, is to lift constituents out of poverty level owing to the hardship in the country.
Idimogu he said, he has observed and seen derives joy when his constituents are able to provide for themselves and have means of livelihood.

The Igbo leader said, “I want to thank God for giving us honourable Jude Idimogu who in his own magnanimity found it worthy to empower the less privileged in Lagos state.
“He is a man of the people, he doesn’t discriminate. He is for Hausas, Yorubas and Igbos. As you can see, a lot of people are here today to participate.
“They said our youths are lazy, you can see how enthusiastic they are about this. However, this programme is for both young and old and I believe with this POS empowerment, there is no way one will be operating it and not be making between 2 to 5 thousand naira daily and if you calculate it, you know how much that will be in a month rather than giving N50,000 or thereabout that will finish immediately. I believe it is going to help a lot of people.
“He is showing people how to fish and not giving fish that will finish within few days. This is really total empowerment.
“He is here giving attention to people. He does not want anyone to be maltreated Most of them are here today and some will come tomorrow.

“As you can see, there are too many people here today. The process is going smoothly, we all have to be patient.
The officials are diligent and responsive, there is no foul play.
I will also be here tomorrow.
“Idimogu has given so much to Oshodi/Isolo and Lagosians at large. The only way to reciprocate these gestures is to ask him to go back. Anything short of that amounts to show of ingratitude which will not encourage people to work hard.
“My message to other political aspirants, candidates and sitting office holders is that they should emulate what Jude Idimogu has done today and is doing, they should learn from him

“They should come out with their own empowerment too because a lot of people are suffering. If someone is busy, he won’t think of kidnapping, stealing or the likes. So, this is the total empowerment we are yearning for,” he submitted.
The programme continues today(Tuesday). According to Hon Idimogu, about 2,400 persons have been registered and more are still registering.
