COVID 19: 16 new cases confirmed, now 81, Enugu joins

The Nigerian Centre For Disease Control (NCDC) late Friday, confirmed 16 new cases of the dreaded coronavirus, two of which were recorded in Enugu state.

At 8:00pm on Friday, the centre announced the number to be 70, but later confirmed the newest confirmed case to be 81 with Enugu state as a new entrant into the number of states in the country with case of the COVID 19 bug.

The new discoveries as at Friday were Lagos -8, Enugu – 2, Federal Capital Territory (FCT) Abuja-3 and  Oyo -2.

Lagos state is still leading in the number of cases as there are presently 52 confirmed cases.
Breakdown of the distribution figure indicates as thus; Lagos -52, Abuja -14, Edo -2, Ogun -3,Oyo – 3,
Enugu -2, Bauchi -2, Ekiti -1, Rivers -1 and Osun  State-1.
