Church services now restricted to 20, says LASG

The Lagos State Government has announced on Saturday the restriction of religious and social gatherings to not more than 20 people.

This is squeal to the confirmation of 10 new cases of coronavirus in Nigeria, with 7 in Lagos State, the government has now urged the people to adhere strictly to the new directive.

The government took this measure to curb the spread of coronavirus contrary to earlier announcement of 50 people restriction.

The release was made known  on Saturday via the government’s verified Twitter handle.

According to the release, “The Lagos State Government has banned all religious or social gathering of over 20 people within the State.”

“It is important we all adhere to this directive,” this is contained in the latest release this Saturday 21st March, 2020.
