Lawmaker eulogises Tinubu at 69

As people worldover continue to shower praises on Bola Ahmed Tinubu as he turns 69 years, Hon Jude Idimogu has sent his congratulated message describing him as a great asset.

In his congratulatory message issued on monday in his office at Alausa through his Special Assiatant on media and publicity, Mr. Henry Uzodinma. Idimogu said another milestone has been added to the life of this political juggernaut and master strategist Tinubu popularity called “Jagaban.

Idimogu who is the Lagos State House of Assembly Member representing Oshodi/Isolo II Constituency thanked God for what He has done with Tinubu towards restoration of democracy, saying more is expected of him to foster peace and unity in the country.

He said, “I joined millions of people all over the globe in celebrating another milestone in the life of this great mentor and leader, who has a brand of politics that has ushered a better understanding of building consensus to achieve historical feats across the Nation.

“Asiwaju has raised the bar for many political leaders across the country as a two-term governor of Lagos State and the National Leader of our great party APC” Idimogu intoned.

The lawmaker who is the only non Yoruba in the Lagos State House of Assembly of today recalled in nostalgia his pleasant intellectual enriching encounters with Asiwaju, during one of his courtesy visits to this leader of inestimable political and intellectual scale.

He joined the All Progressive Congress (APC), family, the President of the country, Muhammadu Buhari, Lagos State Governor,Babajide Sonwo- Olu and the Hon. Speaker of the State House of Assembly, Mudashiru Obasa to tribute this great son of Nigeria and Africa.

Tinubu he said was instrumental to the developmental strides in Lagos State, the Jagaban of Africa he stated played a pivotal role in his re-election in Lagos State House of Assembly, to this he said, “as our National Leader turns 69, we will continue to tap from his wealth of experience and knowledge for the advancement of our great party APC”.

‘As he celebrates another milestone today, may the good Lord continue to strengthen him, may God almighty grant him good health, long life, more wisdom to serve our country and humanity.”

Lauding Tnubu last Sunday at his 2021 birthday celebration held in Kano , the Emir of Kano, Aminu Ado Bayero, praised Tinubu for choosing Kano, describing it as a testimony to the unity and love he has for Nigeria.

Speaking at the Emir’s Palace when he paid a courtesy visit to the Emir in the company of the Kano State Governor, Abdullahi Ganduje, Tinubu nevertheless admitted that the country is passing through a trying moment, noting that only unity can save the situation at this period.

He said, “Nigeria is at critical stage of its life and the only thing that would make it survive is unity and understanding, therefore, Lagos and Kano, which have come through these over time, must show the way.

“Peace and development would be eluded if the nation continues the way it is going, therefore unity and tranquility must be the hope that could be ridden on.

“One can see that today I, Bola Tinubu, is sitting side by side with Governor Ganduje and this is a clear testimony that people regardless of their tribes and religions could come together and make a change,” he said.
