Police Arrest Woman for Stabbing Her Neighbour

Police in Bariga area of Lagos State have arrested a 32 -year- old woman, Joy Asoya for stabbing and assaulting her neighbour.
The suspect, Asonye had used a kitchen knife on her neighbour, Favour Toochukwu, of Alhaji Alimi Street, Bariga, Lagos.
The victim who has been rushed to the Lagos Island Hospital in company of her husband according to the police had wounds on two places at her back as a result of the assault.
However, the police have arrested the suspected who has confessed to the crime, the knife used in the crime was also recovered.
A release signed by the Force Public Relations Officer, Lagos State Police Command, Bala Elkana, said investigation into the case is ongoing, while the suspect will be charged to court at the conclusion of the investigation.
