Kogi State Governor, Ahmed Usman Ododo, has congratulated the National Chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Professor Nentawe Yilwatda Goshwe, on his 58th birthday, describing him as a committed leader whose stewardship has contributed to the unity, stability and growth of the ruling party.
In a congratulatory message personally signed by him, Ododo said Yilwatda’s return as National Chairman at the APC’s 2026 National Convention reflected the confidence reposed in his leadership by party members and stakeholders.
The governor commended the APC chairman for bringing his experience, intellectual depth and understanding of contemporary political dynamics to bear on the management of the party at what he described as a critical period in the nation’s political development.
“Your leadership of our great party at this important moment in our national journey has demonstrated courage, wisdom, maturity and a clear commitment to the unity and progress of the All Progressives Congress,” Ododo said.
He particularly praised Yilwatda’s efforts to strengthen the party’s structures and provide the leadership required to keep the APC united and focused on delivering the Renewed Hope Agenda of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu.
Ododo said Yilwatda’s leadership would remain important as the APC consolidates its gains and prepares for emerging political challenges and opportunities.
He expressed confidence that the national chairman would continue to deploy his experience and capacity in advancing the interests of the party and contributing to national development.
The governor, on behalf of his family, the Kogi State Government and the people of the state, wished Yilwatda continued good health, wisdom and fulfilment in his service to the APC and Nigeria.
He prayed God to grant the APC chairman many more years of fruitful service and greater accomplishments.
“May Almighty God continue to strengthen you, bless you with good health and grant you many more years of fruitful service to our great party, our nation and humanity.
“Happy 58th birthday. Congratulations, and many happy returns,” Ododo said.
