BREAKING: Staff of RCC , Polaris Bank abducted at Ibadan

Gunmen who stormed a quarry site in Ibadan, the Oyo State capital on Monday have taken two people captive.

The gunmen made their way into the site located at Dalli Village (Binu Quarry), along Ijebu-Ode / Ibadan Road and kidnapped the two men: one Popoola Isaac, a staff of Reynolds Construction Company(RCC) and Ismail Adeoye, a staff of Polaris Bank.

kidnap of the men is not the first time of it, few months ago, some gunmen stormed a quarry site at Akinyele local government area in Ibadan and kidnapped some workers.

According to the Public Relations Officer of the State Police command, Mr. Olugbenga Fadeyi, confirmed the abduction stated that the case has been reported at the Idi Ayunre police station.

The state police spokesperson further confirmed that efforts have been intensified to get the victims released.

He said, “Efforts intensified to get them released and also arrest the abductors.”
