BREAKING: Tambuwal withdraws from PDP Presidential race lends Support to Atiku

The Sokoto State Governor, Aminu Waziri Tambuwal has withdrawn from the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) Presidential race.

Tambuwal who had show all strength at clinching the seat however stated at the ongoing National Convention at MKO Abiola Stadium in Abuja that the best bet for all his supporters and delegates of the party was to vote for former Vice President, Atiku Abubakar.

Tambuwal said, “Time has come for us to make sacrifices in the interest of our party and our nation. I have come to the conclusion that I have to step down”, he said.
