The Invasion Praise Concert is set to entertain gospel music enthusiasts and worshippers on October 5, 2025, at Eko Hotels & Suites, Victoria Island, Lagos, promising an exceptional experience blending faith, excellence and community.

Since its inception in 2019 at Egbeda, where more than 4,000 worshippers gathered in the largest church auditorium of the suburb, Invasion Praise Concert has evolved into one of Nigeria’s most celebrated gospel music gatherings, attracting believers, dignitaries and celebrities, with its 2025 edition expected to be outstanding.

The media office of organisers of the event had in a press statement on Sunday noted that this year’s event will be exceptional and give attendees value for their time.

The statement added, “What started as a passionate vision to unite believers in worship has now matured into a world-class event that resonates not only with the Christian community but also with dignitaries, celebrities, and lovers of gospel music across all walks of life.

“The strategic relocation of the concert to Eko Hotels & Suites, Victoria Island, in 2023 marked a turning point. Moving from the suburbs to the heart of Lagos brought with it a new level of excellence, scale, and visibility.

“Since then, each edition has delivered electrifying praise and worship experiences, featuring top gospel ministers, word preachers, and renowned gospel ministers in an atmosphere that blends reverence with vibrant creativity. Attendees have described it as more than just a concert, it is an encounter.

“The impact has not been limited to the physical stage. Through digital platforms, Invasion Praise has also captured a global audience. Songs like “Oke Nla Nla,” written and composed by the convener, Kaywonder, have gained massive traction online, further cementing the concert’s influence in the gospel music space.

“We have remained unwavering in our commitment: to host a free, world-class gospel concert at Lagos’s premier venue for the glory of God.

“Remarkably, Invasion Praise was the first gospel concert ever held at Eko Hotels & Suites with no gate fee charged.

“Beyond the music, the organisers have also prioritised accessibility, providing transportation via BRT buses from different parts of Lagos and neighboring states to ensure that no willing worshipper is left behind.

“As the countdown begins for the next edition, Invasion Praise Concert stands as a shining example of what happens when faith, excellence, and community converge. It is more than an event, it is a movement of worship that continues to raise the standard for gospel music concerts in Nigeria and beyond. This year’s edition will hold at Eko Hotel and Suites on the 5th of October, 2025 by 2pm.”
