“Why PDP aspirants must brace up for off-season, 2023 polls”

Aspirants of the People’s Democracy Party(PDP), hoping to clinch tickets of the party and subsequently win various states and national elections have been advised to gird up their loins as the time to hit the ground is now.

The Publicity Secretary of PDP Youth Alliance(PDPYA), Chief Dr Emeka Kalu, gave the charge through a press release he made available to Nation update online, he commended the maturity so far being displayed by the leadership of the party in both federal, states and local levels.

Kalu called on the party men and women to sit up, and move down to business especially now the off- season elections in Anambra, Ondo and Edo states are fast approaching, that if they hold on firmly to the plough early, PDP will no doubt be the party to beat in the unfolding political dispensation.

He said, “I am encouraging all our candidates in Anambra, Ondo and Edo states to start marketing themselves to the electorates by showing what they have to offer. The impending contests in Nigeria is going to be a defining moment for the future of Nigeria.

“Let our party’s aspirants begin to sample their profiles as the best because at this point, Nigeria is in serious search for the best, only the best will represent our great party.

“As a matter of importance, I am optimistic that at the appropriate time, PDP will initiate party debate to choose the best that will fly our flags because the people we will field will not be acceptable to only PDP, but must satisfy the yearnings of the masses that are in dire need of emancipation” he said.

The PDPYA Publicity Secretary therefore assured all Aspirants in the party that they will receive maximum support of the Youth wing once they emerge as candidates of the party to ensure victory for the party in all elective positions and turn the fortunes of the nation around and make the country great again
