“Why Buhari counterparts ‘ll lose to Atiku in 2023 presidential poll “

Following the uninspiring leadership of President Muhammadu Buhari, it has become incontrovertible  that the best hand to lead Nigeria out of the woods  at this trying time and be able to beat any candidate that may be projected by President Muhammadu Buhari in 2023 is no other than Atiku Abubakar.

The Director-General, Global Initiative for Good Governance, Dr Emeka Kalu in a press statement tittled, “I have no regret supporting  Atiku” said the 2019 presidential candidate of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP), is a man in whom Nigerians will find the qualities they are looking for, in both management and leadership.

Kalu insisted that  the problem of Nigeria is but, good leadership, that there is no other problem confronting the country, this he corroborated with words of Chinua Achebe  and the former Speaker of the house of representatives, Yakubu Dogara who had at different times taken same position.

He stated that  he has a divergent view with those who think financial corruption is the major national disease of Nigeria, that absence of true leadership is rather the real disease holding the country down which Atiku has what it takes to remedy.

Kalu stated that  the score card of Atiku so far in public and private enterprises speaks eloquently of his ability and capacity to lead Nigeria right, that he regrets no bit of  his unwavering support to him.

“I have no regret supporting Atiku Abubakar because, he is the right person for the people of Nigeria at this time, following the uninspiring leadership of President Muhammadu Buhari.

“The former Vice President who enjoys the company of educated people and is an intellectual in his own right has prepared a policy document with his vision encapsulated in JOBS – Jobs, Opportunity, Being United and Security.
He is also a good economic manager,” he said.

Kalu, a former governorship aspirant stated further that Atiku Abubakar the Vice President of Nigeria between 1999 to 2007, then  as the Chairman of the National Economic Council did well in introducing measures and implementing policies that gave the entire national economy a lease of life and breath of fresh air and created jobs that fetched regular income to many Nigerians.

He said that at this time when the country yawns strongly for national integration, and for a leader who will see all Nigerians as equal, jettison the 97 versus 5 per cent insignia, that Atiku is the man who will have no place for tribalism, ethnicity and nepotism.
