Gospel music minister Kay Wonder and a host of gospel music ministers are set to lead worshippers in an afternoon of praise, worship and spiritual fellowship at the 2026 edition of Invasion Praise, scheduled for Sunday, October 18, at Eko Hotel & Suites, Victoria Island, Lagos.
The concert, themed “The Set Time,” will begin at 2 p.m., bringing together established gospel music ministers and emerging talents for an event organisers say is designed to unite people through worship, faith and music.
The line-up features Mama Bola Are, Minister BBO, Lilian Nneji, Toluwani Sings, Psalmos, Titilayo Euba, Minister Dieko, Shola Sax and Tobi Akuraku, alongside the convener, Kay Wonder.
The programme will be anchored by VVIP MC French and veteran compere Uncle Ben.

This year’s theme, “The Set Time,” draws on the idea of a divinely appointed moment—a season to gather in God’s presence, offer praise and thanksgiving, and renew faith and expectation.
It provides the spiritual focus for an event that has grown over the years from a gathering inspired by a vision to unite worshippers into an annual gospel music concert.
Invasion Praise debuted in Egbeda, Lagos, in 2019, attracting thousands of worshippers. Since then, the initiative has continued to expand, with its relocation to Eko Hotel & Suites in 2023 marking a significant milestone in its development.
The move provided a new platform for the concert while preserving its founding vision of bringing people together through praise and worship.
With performers representing different gospel music styles and expressions, the 2026 edition is expected to offer a blend of music, congregational worship and celebration, while retaining the spiritual emphasis that has characterised the gathering.
Beyond its musical programme, the organisers have maintained free admission as a defining feature of Invasion Praise.
Despite holding the concert at Eko Hotel & Suites, one of Lagos’ prominent hospitality venues, the organisers say attendees will not be required to pay an entrance fee.
Complimentary buses will also convey worshippers to the venue from designated locations across Lagos, an arrangement intended to ease transportation challenges and make the event accessible to people travelling from different parts of the city.
The initiative reflects the organisers’ commitment to opening the gathering to a broad audience, rather than limiting participation to those who live or work around Victoria Island.
Over the years, Invasion Praise has sought to establish itself as more than a conventional gospel music event, creating a platform for worship, fellowship and creative expression while connecting gospel music ministers with audiences.
Its reach has also extended beyond the physical venue through digital platforms, enabling people outside Lagos and those unable to attend in person to engage with content from the concert.
At the heart of the initiative, however, remains the vision that inspired its establishment in 2019: bringing people together to worship God through music and praise.
As the October date approaches, the organisers are inviting worshippers, gospel music enthusiasts and members of the public to participate in what promises to be another edition of the annual gathering.
Under the theme “The Set Time,” the concert will offer participants an opportunity to come together in thanksgiving, praise and worship, with the organisers looking to build on the event’s previous editions.
Invasion Praise 2026 will hold at 2 p.m. on Sunday, October 18, at Eko Hotel & Suites, Victoria Island, Lagos.
Admission is free, and complimentary buses will be available from designated locations across Lagos.
