Sex -for -Marks IMSU Professors suspended, face panel

The Imo State University, Owerri has confirmed the reports currently trending of two lectures of the institution alleged to have been caught in a hotel room making sexual advances to their students.

The two lecturers, Prof. Emmanuel N. Agumuo, Head of Department of Biochemistry and Prof. Victor Obinna Njoku of the Chemistry Department in a trending video, were caught pants down with a lure to the ladies to influence their marks.

Luck ran out of the said lecturers. in one of the videos, unclothed Prof. Agumuo was handcuffed by some security men for allegedly trying to have canal knowledge of his student after collecting the sum of N150,000 from her as bribe to upgrade her exam score.

The lecturer had insisted on laying with her even after she had fulfilled their initial agreement for the payment of N150, 000.

The said student had approached the HOD over the issue she had in his course to find a way of resolving it, as her wedding was fast approaching.

Prof. Njoku Victor in the similar case was busted and arrested as shown in the video while trying to sleep with a lady suspected to be a student of the institution.

Reacting to the situation, Ralph Njoku Obi, spokesman of the university confirmed the information in a chart with nation update.

He said the institution is not compromising in the area of discipline and morals both on the side of lecturers, students and entire staff alike.

“The management of the institution has also set up a committee to probe the two lecturers and as it stands now, the two lecturers have been suspended so they can give the school management more room to do a proper investigation into the matter. There shall not be any sacred cow,” Obi said.
