Promoting Igbo Culture: Eze Njoku launches language learning centre in Lagos

Determined to promote and inculcate the Igbo cultural values on the younger ones, the Eze Ndigbo of Ejigbo, Lagos State, Eze Nicholas Njoku, has concluded arrangements for the formal launch of an education centre for the learning of Igbo culture and heritage called, “Ulo Nmuta Omenala Nasusu Igbo”.

The school which will serve as a place where younger generation would be guided on how to be true ambassadors to their culture and heritage in all aspect of their lives.
In a release signed by his Media Adviser, the launching event is scheduled to take place at Ronnik Comprehensive College Ejigbo on Sunday 23 July, 2023 at 2pm.

The event will afford the children under the ages of 6 to 15years opportunity to showcasing what they have learnt from the school since one year ago it stared out.
Eze Njoku who is an advocate and promoter of Igbo culture and tradition, stated that the event is aimed at promoting the culture, tradition and norms of Igbo language so as to educate young generation about their root, as it will also provide opportunities to market the culture, language, music and other uniqueness of the Igbos by the younger generation.

” This event is aimed at rejuvenating our Igbo rich culture and heritage as well showcasing to the world and our brothers and sisters far and near that Igbo language and culture will never go into extinction; our culture and traditions are unique identity, therefore we need to safeguard and promote them as they can attract tourists from across the globe ” he stated.
It is expected that over 1,000 people are expected to grace this event which will including the Chairman of Ejigbo Local Government,Hon Monsurudeen Oloyede Bello,Ohaneze, leaders of thought, royal fathers, lovers of Igbo language and reputable Igbo linguists.
