..PDP cannot be trusted to rescue Nigeria -VON DG

The third republic Senate President of Nigeria, Dr Iyorchia Ayu, has said eight more years of the All Progressives Congress (APC)-led government will lead to Nigeria’s breakup.
The newly elected People’s Democratic Party (PDP) chairman however maintained that APC is the biggest cancer affecting Nigeria today which requires concerted efforts of all stakholders in the project Nigeria to work together to defeat the party in the next general elections, Ayu asserted, “Your support matters.”
Dr Ayu who made the scary prediction on Monday, November 29, when he received a delegation of the Coalition of United Political Party (CUPP) led by Ikenga Ugochinyere at his residence in Abuja.

Nigeria he maintained can’t endure eight more years of the APC-led government, as there is need to defeat the party.
“Because this government came in on a prospect of massive propaganda running down the PDP that did a lot for this country, therefore, you have the duty to educate Nigerians that eight more years of this government will cause complete disaster for the country.
“It will lead to the breakup of this country and everything should be done to educate Nigerian to democratically remove this government because they are the biggest cancer affecting Nigeria today at every level.”
The PDP chieftain further claimed that governors elected on the platform of the APC are the worst in this country, Making apparent reference to Governor Mai Mala Buni of Yobe state who doubles as the APC’s caretaker chairman, Ayu said:
“How can a governor leave his state for years and stay in Abuja because he is the national chairman of the political party? Who is governing your state? That is how unserious they are.”
In the same vain, the Director-General of the Voice of Nigeria(VON), Osita Okechukwu, has said Nigerians will be making a big mistake if they vote the PDP back to power.

Okechukwu who is a chieftain of the rulling APC maintained that the opposition PDP cannot be trusted to rescue Nigeria.
The promoters of the party he said have an incurable appetite for corruption and a history of mismanaging the economy.
Okechukwu made this statement during an interview in Abuja last Sunday.
