The commandant, Nigerian Security and Civil Defence Corps(NSCDC), Lagos State Command, Commandant Edenabu Okoro Eweka has commended Security Intel Nigeria Limited, a United Kingdom based security company on the launch of its flagship software product “SIACONTROLROOM”.

The Lagos NSCDC boss who was the guest speaker at the event held at the Lilygate hotel, Victoria Island, Lekki, Lagos firstly commended Nigeria and it’s security architecture even as it applauded Intel Ltd on the achievement of this laudable and historical innovation described as a robust and problem solving security software technology for Africa.
In a release made available to Nation Update through the spokesperson of the NSCDC Lagos Command,ASC1, Abolurin Oluwaseun, Eweka harped on the urgent need for technological advancement in the area of security to drive the African economy especially Nigeria.
The technological solutions being canvassed for the country would also drive economy, education. It would also enhance professionalism and self reliant which will act as a catalyst to the eradication of the menacing insecurity in the nation today.
The commandant said, “While it is a known fact that the Nigerian Government also believes in the deployment of technology to fight insecurities such as terrorism, insurgency, kidnapping, banditry, armed robbery illegal oil bunkering and oil pipeline vandalism, just to mention a few.
“Nevertheless, the launching of the flagship software technology by Security Intel Nigeria Limited in partnership with Securisoft Nigeria Limited, its sister company in Nigeria, is a right step in the right direction.”
Eweka however posited that the immense contributions of technology to achieving quality peace and security in the nation cannot be downplayed.
