Foreign university appoints Pastor Chris Oyakhilome Chancellor, Indian lady, others as board members

Rev Dr. Chris Oyakhilome, the newly appointed Chancellor, Head of Government and Chairman Plenipotentiary the newly appointed Chancellor of the fast growing Weldios University, Republic of Benin, has concluded the first board meeting with his board members in attendance as he begins a new and interesting service to humanity.

Pastor Chris a renowned televangelist, President of Loveworld Ministries,was represented at the meeting by the younger Oyakhilome, Dr. Desmond Oyakhilome, who was also present at the conferment of Chancellorship status on his father.

Dr. Desmond Oyakhilome while briefing the media at the end of the meeting said; “It’s yet another recognition of the invaluable service to the body of Christ in particular, and humanity at large by Rev. Dr. Chris Oyakhilome who has continued to impact lives positively in various sectors.
This is another call to service and to the glory of God, those who chose him have seen his numerous humanitarian works and are convinced he is fit for the honor bestowed on him.”

Rev. Chris Oyakhilome is set to be working with a team of young, vibrant and dynamic board members, among whom is 43 year-old Indian, Ambassador (Dr.) Kirti Sudhanshu also known as Koki.

Dr. Kirti Usudhanshu is the founder and CEO of Kirti’s Kare Foundation, Lagos, a humanitarian foundation that cares and provides for the less privileged.

Dr. Sudhanshu’s appointment made it the first time in Nigeria that a young Indian lady of just 43 years old will be on the board of a Private University and of course, Weldios University.

Speaking to newsmen, Koki expressed her immense happiness for such honour to her.
“Am grateful for this privileged call to thto service of humanity. It’s difficult to be a woman also difficult to be a foreigner, but am blessed in Nigeria, Nigeria is my country.

“I want to use this opportunity to create, and leave a legacy behind. This is a great milestone to me, am grateful to the university for the recognition and thankful to God for the gift of Pastor Chris to mankind,” she said.
