EndSars protest: House member condoles with bereaved families

The Member Representing Oshodi/Isolo Constituency 2 in the Lagos State House of Assembly, Hon. Jude Omobowale Idimogu, has commiserated with the Nigerian youths, the Lagos State government, the nation and his constituents over the recent unfortunate killings in the country.

Idimogu condemned the hijack of the peaceful #EndSars protest which has led to the destruction of lives, public and private assets.

The lawmaker frowned at the situation in which he regretted that a  protest which had started well was later hijacked by thugs who unleashed mayhem on the general public.

Idimogu who is the Chairman hHous Committee on Wealth Creation extended his profound sympathy to The Ejigbo LCDA Executive Chairman, Hon Monsurudeen Oloyede Bello over the fire incident that destroyed properties at the Council during the protest.

He stated, “I also sympathy with all my Constituents that were affected in one way or the other during the #EndSars protest, which includes – Private and Government owned assets that were destroyed by the hoodlums – Ilasamaja Police station, Lastma Office, Imakinyo Police Post and others.”

He therefore urged the good people of his Oshodi/Isolo Constituency 2 to remain peaceful and law abiding which they are known for as every thing is being put in place to ensure the safety of all the Constituents.

Idimogu gave kudos to the state governor, Babajide Sonwo-Olu for the maturity, patriotism and tact with which he has handled the present situation, he called on all Lagosians to give him the necessary maximum support.
