Clergy charges girl Child on persistence, focus minded

…….as Assemblies of God Church holds Young Singles Day.

In order to fulfill their destiny and be an impactful women of substance, the girl child has been urged to be resilient, focused and have great delight in the Lord so as to have a bright future.

This was disclosed by Rev. Mrs Prisca Timpaul of the Assemblies of God Church, Ejigbo during the Young Singles and Missionettes Day celebration held at the church premises, she went further to state that as future mothers who want to be great persons, women of substance, they should start on time to delight themselves in the things of the lord as every focus of their life should be depended on God.

Rev. Mrs Timpaul who is an Empowerment maestro and a gospel artist opined that if they have God, they have the world, stating that for them to fulfill their dreams in life, they must begin on time,ask God for direction as they journey in life.

“If you want to fulfil destiny and make a difference as a Christian girl or lady, you should remember that it is not just about going to church or reading the bible, but all about delighting yourself in the lord and remaining focused.” She said.

In the same vein, the Sectional Matron of the Young Singles Ejigbo,Mrs Agwu Ogechi appealed to the girl child to always keep their identity as the only identity they have must be anchored on Christ according to Romans 6:11 and 2 Corinthians 5: 17.
She went further to thank the church for acknowledging the girl child in ensuring that they remain focus especially in the things of God, stressing that when the young singles delight themselves in the lord, it will give them the desire of their heart as we want them to be the expected future mothers.

Giving their fatherly advice, the Senior Pastor of the Church Rev.Tim Paul (Phd) and an elder in the Church Deacon Akpan Joseph respectively urge the Young Singles to seek first the kingdom of God and also delight themselves in lord so as to express their love for God so as to not make mistakes in life, and when they do this, their lives will be prosperous.

Speaking earlier, the President Young Singles of the Assemblies of God Church Ejigbo Lagos, Sister Chidinma Chima in her sermon from the book of Psalms 37: 4 pointed out that most young singles because they want quick answers have fallen into so many pit, but if they humble and delight themselves in the lord, they will get their heart desires.

The event which was a one week long event witnessed varieties like bible recitation, choreography, and fashion parade from the young singles and missionettes.
