BREAKING: Peter Obi resigns from PDP, may continue with SDP

Peter Obi one of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) presidential aspirants
has resigned from the party and quest to actualise his dream in the party.

Obi, a former Anambras State Governor, was until his resignation one of the 15 aspirants vying for the presidential ticket of the PDP.

The letter conveying his resignation from the party, made available to Nation Update dated Tuesday, May 24, submitted to the National Chairman of the PDP, Dr. Iyorchia Ayu, on Wednesday, May 25.

His resignation came barely 72 hours before the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) National Convention.

Peter Obi has been very visible in his State wide consultations and interactions with the PDP delegates and stakeholders.

Speculation are that he may be joining the Social Democratic Party (SDP), one of the registered political parties or any other party to actualise his dream.
