Breaking: Fire guts CBN state office

In what looks like season of fire outbreaks, the Jos, Plateau State branch of the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) has been gutted by fire barely four days after that of INEC, Abuja.

The CBN in its Tweet this Tuesday stated that
The Jos branch of the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) in Plateau State has been gutted by fire.

The CBN confirmed the incident on its official Twitter handle this Tuesday thus, “Minor fire outbreak at the Jos branch of Central bank of Nigeria, promptly contained today, April 21, 2020.”

On Friday 17, April the Independent National Electoral Commission’s office in Abuja was also gutted by fire this was also days after the Corporate Affairs Commission (CAC) also went up in flames.

In less than fifteen days, four key government offices have been hit by fire outbreak namely,
Treasury House, housing the Accountant General of the Federation’s office, Corporate Affairs Commission (CAC) headquarters, Independent National Electoral Commission’s office in Abuja and now CBN office Jos
