BREAKING: APC presidential primary: Tinubu in comfortable early lead

Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu is comfortably leading the All Progressives Congress, APC, primary elections as counting of votes progress.
Reports from the Eagles Square venue of the event authoritatively stated that Tinubu has over 1,000 votes in his favour so far while the Rotimi Amaechi, former Rivers State Governor, followed with 217 votes
Yemi Osinbajo, Vice President of Nigeria currently occupies third position with 155 votes to his credit.
About seven aspirants as could be recalled which include the Governor of Ekiti State, who doubles as Chairman of the Nigerian Governors Forum, Kayode Fayemi stepped down for the Asiwaju of Lagos.
The rulling APC convention which started on Monday 7 June, 2022 is expected to produce a candidate for the 2023 presidential election coming up in 2023
