Agric Research institutes get Provosts

Federal Colleges of Agriculture in the country numbering seven have got new Provosts appointed for them, also appointed was an Executive Director for the National Veterinary Research Institute (NVRI) Vom, Jos, Plateau State

Presenting them with their appointment letters on Tuesday, the Executive Secretary, Agricultural Research Council Of Nigeria (ARCN), Prof Garba Hamidu Sharubutu at the Council’s Board room, congratulated the appointees and charged them to contribute their quota to the growth and development of the National Agricultural Research System.

Sharubutu further expressed delight and confidence in the standard of the recruitment process which he believes has lead to the selection and appointment of qualified and competent hands to pilot the affairs of the various institutes. .

The new appointees are: Dr. Maryam Mohammed, National Veterinary Research Institute(NVRI) Vom Plateau State; Dr.Akinyemi Fadiyimu- FCA Akure Ondo State and Dr. Mrs Elizabeth Oluwakemi Augustus- FCA Ibadan, Oyo State.

Others are: Dr.Mohammed Gwaram- Kano; Dr. Babawo- Dadin kowa, Gombe State; Dr. Michael Okoronkwo- FCA Ishiagu; Dr.Adekoya Owosibo- FCAHPT- Ibadan and Dr. Jude Okpara- FCAHPT Vom.
