Governor Eno strengthens APC unity, inaugurates secretariat building committee

Akwa Ibom State Governor, Pastor Umo Eno, has appointed Hon. Unyime Idem, representing Ukanafun/Oruk Anam Federal Constituency to a 5-man committee to oversee the All Progressives Congress(APC) Secretariat building project, further solidifying the party’s unity and solidarity in the state.

The committee, inaugurated by His Excellency, Governor Umo Eno during his visit to the APC State Secretariat, 6 Ekpo Obot Street, Uyo, has Sir Monday Ebong Uko as chairman, with the Member representing Ukanafun/Oruk Anam Federal Constituency, Rep. Unyime Idem, Honourable Minister of State for Petroleum Resources (Gas), Obongemem Ekperikpe Ekpo, former Deputy Governor, His Excellency, Obong Nsima Ekere and Senator Ita Enang, as members.

Speaking during the meeting as Chairman, Akwa Ibom State Caucus in the House of Representatives, Rep. Unyime Idem, assured the Governor that the National Assembly members will rally support for his administration to succeed, and will also deliver at least 80 percent in all the 10 federal constituencies in the 2027 general elections to ensure his landslide victory.

The meeting further strengthened the party’s unity and solidarity, ultimately leading to a brighter future for the state.

Earlier, Hon. Idem who is also the Chairman, Public Procurement Committee of the House of Representatives joined Gov. Eno in the Commissioning of the newly built auditorium of the Nigeria Union of Journalists, Akwa Ibom State Council, as well as the handing over of brand new cars to members of the Comrade Amos Etuk-led Executives of the Union.
