Customs Comptroller Adebisi receives Ooni of Ife in Abuja

…Describes visit as moral booster, grassroot support

The customs area controller of the Federal Capital Territory, Comptroller Olu Emmanuel Adebisi on Monday 16 December received the Ooni of Ife HRM, Oba Adeyeye Anitan Babatunde Ogunwusi, Ojala II, at the command’s office complex Airport Road, Abuja.

Comptroller Adebisi while welcoming the monarch and his entourage expressed appreciation for his honor to visit the Command, describing such as moral booster.

The FCT customs controller added that the visit was also an encouragement to keep working hard for the greater good of the country.

He urged other paramount rulers to take a cue from the revered Ooni by visiting their sons and daughters at their places of service to the nation in order to encourage them to continue the good work they are doing for the nation.

In a press release made available by DSC Jude Tavershima Ansha Customs Public Relations Officer(PRO) for FCT Area Command, Oba Ogunwusi expressed gratitude for the warm reception granted him by the Controller despite the short notice.

He stated that the aim of his visit was to know how one of their sons is doing, expressed his satisfaction at the level of achievements and contributions he has made at the command.

The monarch before departing gave the Controller, Officers & Men of the Command his Royal and fatherly blessings and also admonished everyone to be diligent in carrying out their statutory duties.
